Cost Of Living Adjustment 2023!
Disabled veterans with a disability rating of 10% or higher will see their 2023 VA disability pay increase by 8.7%. This Cost Of Living Adjustment for VA disability will be effective December 1, 2022. Veterans will receive the COLA increase on their January 2023 VA disability check.
The Department of Veterans Affairs based this increase on the Social Security Administration 2023 Cost of Living Adjustment. This is the highest COLA adjustment in over 40 years for veterans receiving VA disability checks. This is due to inflation, rising cost of consumer goods, and increased gas prices.
